S100A10 - Wikipedia
S100 calcium-binding protein A10 (S100A10), also known as p11, is a protein [5] that is encoded by the S100A10 gene in humans and the S100a10 gene in other species. [6][7] S100A10 is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs.

2010年10月20日 · In this issue of Science Translational Medicine, Alexander and colleagues describe coherent evidence drawn from humans and from modeled animals that supports a brain region–specific gene therapy for depression: adeno-associated virus (AAV)–mediated transfer of the gene encoding p11 to the nucleus accumbens (NAcc). The investigators found ...
Modulation of Ion Channels and Receptors by p11 (S100A10)
2020年7月1日 · p11 (S100A10, annexin II light chain, calpactin I light chain) is a multifunctional protein that forms a heterotetrameric complex with Annexin A2, particularly at cell membranes. p11, alone or together with Annexin A2, interacts with several ion channels and receptors and regulates their cellular localization and function.
Reversal of Depressed Behaviors in Mice by p11 Gene Therapy in …
To better understand the involvement of p11 action in depressive-like states and to inform possible p11-based antidepressant therapies, we have used viral vector–mediated gene transfer to focally alter p11 expression in normal adult mouse brain.
