2006年12月5日 · Now the P1404 code apeared, I got it scanned a few hours ago. I was browsing thru the forum and it seems that it is the EGR Valve, and that is what the Autozone guy told me. He handed me a ticket with the code and what it means : Circuit B Malfunction, Intake Air temperature/ EGR Temperature Sensor Circuit.

2004年2月10日 · P1404 is the EGR Pintle Position (system) and the fault description is "Circuit Fault". in reality, the best thing is to take the whole damn intake off and do a good house cleaning,since all the passage ways(i.e. vacuum routes, etc.)gets plugged. the pintle gets stuck by all the crap inside the manifold, usually having the engine running too rich.
