2014年1月19日 · Got my vagcom and ran an auto scan. Came up with that "please check DTC memory of steering electronics P1698 - 000 -." There was not the code for having to replace the cruise control switch or any other switch or sensor. I read somewhere, some one had to replace the steering wheel electronics control module.

"They see it all the time" especially with people who buy big diesel trucks "for show only" and never put any real load on it, like towing.
