2016年6月14日 · I pulled a fuse labeled "back". The car started started throwing warnings on the dash so I shut it off and replaced the fuse. Now I have my TC light on (and I cant toggle my tc), I have a blinking cruise, and a solid CEL. I checked the codes after disconnecting the battery for 25 minutes didn't fix it. The codes are p1718, and 2 of the code P0700.

This is a variable valve timing valve I believe for bank 1 which would be the passenger side, low oil level could cause this ,stuck valve or clogged oil line most times its the valve this could be an early indication of a turbo failure because the oil line could be clogged at the banjo belt which feeds turbo bearing,check it out and let me know,thanks

2009年5月25日 · The P1718 receipt says AT CAN communication circuit. I am working on a 2008 OBW with the 5eat and 12k mileage. Autozone wont clear the codes for me and i have tried using a laptop with software (romraider)designed too do it and the lights dummy lights wont go away for so much as a second.

2016年10月25日 · I currently have a 2009 OBXT Automatic. I have been having this codes pop up every 300 to 600 miles. P1718, P0600 and P0700. The first code p1718 says Transmission fluid temperature sensor Circuit. Can someone please point me in the right direction as to where to start. Thank you soo much in advance.

2021年2月20日 · The fact that the car drives ok, and there is no CEL, might suggest that the P1718 is an old code. This code maybe stored on the TCM, or is being generated by a code that is still stored on the TCM. So, a diagnositc scantool (or possibly an ‘updated’ Accessport, that communicates with Subaru TCM), is likely required to clear the memory.

2021年9月12日 · Next thing, the codes. P1718 is a diagnostic indicator saying that the CAN communication system is faulting with either an electrical short or open. This is pretty general and not specifically accurate. If the computers can't talk to each other, this is the code you get. So it doesn't necessarily mean there is a loose wire or whatever.

2020年12月6日 · P1718 is CAN Communication Circuit which means Open or short AT communication signal circuit So out of those 3(three) codes, 2 of them are pretty much a repeat. I could have two issues, or one which is triggering a systemic failure. Nothing was fidddled with when it came to the pedal but i will check resistance tomorrow and the CAN circuit.

2011年10月31日 · I tried this several time over 2 hours while waiting for AAA to show up. They towed it to a shop just down the road, and at first they couldn't repeat the problem and it started fine several times. Then, it wouldn't start at all. They're saying it's throwing code P1718, but they're having a problem tracking down the cause.
