2017年3月16日 · I cleaned the plug that already appeared clean with contact cleaner and a soft tooth brush. Reinstalled and zip tied it down tightly. This seemed to improve the shift and feel of the truck and definitely delayed the reoccurrence of the issue after deletion of the code from the ECM. When the code reappeared it had a friend P1744.

2015年9月27日 · ^ Henry, 1 '99tec with the p1744 code had the tc replaced by a local tranny shop for ~$750 shortly after the code surfaced. It cured the code. Another '98tec with the p1744 was driven 3-4 yrs. with the code prior being salvaged. It wasn't salvaged due to eng./tranny problems.
