Oshkosh announced on May 30, 2013, that it had been selected by the US Marine Corps to supply its next-generation Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicles. The P-19 Replacement (P-19R) will replace the Oshkosh P-19A fleet which was first fielded in 1984 and is reaching the end of its service life. [2] .

It is a 6x6 vehicle that carries 1000 gallons of water, 130 gallons of foam agent, and 500 pounds of Halotron auxiliary firefighting agent. The roof and bumper turrets combined, will discharge up to 750 gallons of water per minute, up to 1000 ft from a fire.

Oshkosh unveiled a new modernized Striker at FDIC-Indianapolis, April 2010. It is 910 kilograms (2,000 lb) lighter so it is faster and more maneuverable. The new Striker was designed with extensive feedback from firefighters and fire chiefs.

2022年8月21日 · I just bought a fire engine from govplanet and hauled it out to Montana for wildfire issues up in the mountains. It runs great but after filling the water tank I can’t get the water pump to activate. I’m looking for the operation manual to make sure I’m flipping the correct switches. Maybe the pump just needs to be primed….
