2014年5月20日 · Just recently on my 2004 BEW PD TDI the CEL has been coming on after running for a couple of minutes. I checked codes with the VCDS and the only code stored is P2237 which says Oxygen Sensor B1S1 Pump Current Open Circuit. I've checked the wires to the sensor, all seem fine. How likely are these to fail with 239K miles on the clock?

2020年10月2日 · Recently the check engine light came on and my heart sank. I brought it to the shop bc it had p0171 and p2237. They said the A/F & downstream O2 sensors looked good, but were very loose. They tightened them and cleaned my MAF sensor. 100 miles later p2237 came back on, but no sign of p0171 which is good.

2019年10月1日 · P2237 - Oxygen Sensor Pumping Current Circuit Open Bank 1 Sensor 1 I cleared the code but it comes back. I took the truck on a long road trip and it got 21.5MPG so I think the o2 sensor is good. The battery tested good. I just bought the truck and it is really clean so I don't think there is any abuse or mud that caused it. Any ideas?

2024年8月31日 · Alright, I just replaced the fuel tank, spark plugs and coils. The P0171 went away for a few days then came back along with a new P2237 code. From what i've gleaned combing over the forum is that this can be anything in the air and fuel system from faulty O2 sensors to clogged fuel filters, MAF sensors, and injectors.

2015年6月2日 · That's pretty much the story. Truck randomly started running like crap with very little power. CEL started flashing. Limped it home and pulled P0301 and P2237. These seem to be quite different codes, a Cylinder 1 misfire and open circuit O2 sensor. I'm assuming one caused the other, but not sure which area to start.

My 2014 reg cab 2.7L Manual was throwing code P2237 and P2238 calling for a bar bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor. I put a new Denso sensor in and life was good for a few hundred miles.. then it started throwing just P2238 for a while..
