2013年7月25日 · They pulled 5 codes (P0008, P0500, P0856, P2544, & U0101) and had to call in a heavy duty engine tech to read the codes. After having the car for 2 day's they said based off the codes my time chaining is stretched and i need a new torque converter.

2014年2月26日 · Hard to say, but the U codes are communication codes and generally need to be checked first. The limp mode is just a default protocol for the listed codes. I can get you a chart for these codes. I need to log in to the GM site to get them, but a quick google will give you a general idea anyway. All codes after 96 are universal OBDII compliant.

If I spend 2 hours on your car to accurately diagnose a problem and lets say the fault is a Mass Air Flow Meter, GM pays .3 times my rate ($30) to replace the part and .3 diagnosis times my rate ($30). So for 2 hours spent on your car I get paid $18 dollars by GM. That is all I will get paid for the 2 hours.

2017年6月26日 · It pretty much reads that your TB has lost its ability to send the correct voltage signals back to the ECM from its 2 internal throttle blade position sensors. They show that the correct TB for your car is GM # 12615503 and or ACDelco # 217-350. Even Amazon sells that TB, an their price is $88. I really don't know if they sell individual parts ...

2010年8月9日 · P0556, P0557, and another code like P2544 or something like that. My car thrown all 3 of these codes several times (I keep checking and clearing them) and has thrown the P0556 and P0557 every time i have started since then except for one time it just threw the P0556.

2015年2月6日 · Drive by wire throttle bodies have been known to freeze in position in the cold, which could cause this issue. My in-laws had a GM SUV that would have problems when it was quite cold out. The band-aid solution was to tap the throttle body actuator with a hammer or wrench to loosen it up.
