2015年5月13日 · All genuine 2021-dated P28A’s should have an “L” as the second character in the date code on the wrap. If it has a “K” that is a cell manufacturered in 2020, “J” = 2019, “I” = 2018, etc. I’m happy to report that the 2021-dated Molicel P28A’s ran noticeably better than the 2018 cells I tested three years ago.

2015年5月13日 · The Molicel P28B is the best performing high power 18650 we can buy now. It performs essentially the same as the P28A at up to about 15A-20A but above that the P28B performs a little better. The P28B performs better than the P26A at all power levels, especially when above 20A. Not a huge difference but it will be noticeable in my opinion.

Ill grab a few of these soon then , Right now using r25 samsung but i tend to hover in 100watt alot and i believe the max they can handle is 120w (60watt per battery) so im pulling alot of current nothin dangerous but id rather have better batteries

2015年5月13日 · This cell’s internal resistance is a bit lower than the P28A so it runs a few degrees cooler at high power levels. At 10A they performed the same in my testing. At 20A the Epoch ran for about 3% longer. At 30A the Epoch ran for about 8% longer. The Epoch’s delivered an average of 2758mAh.

2015年5月13日 · This cell is a great performer, testing better than last time and a little better than the Murata VTC5A. It performs essentially the same as the Molicel P26A. The Molicel P28A still performs a little better at all current levels though. The datasheet only lists a temperature-limited discharge current rating of 35A.

2020年4月7日 · Just ordered some Molicel p26a 18650 batteries.Usually use Samsung 30q batteries. My question is, based on watt-hours, will the p26a last roughly as long as the 30q, despite the 400mah difference, if I pull them at 3.4v or 3.5v.
