Oct 31, 2011 · I dont think the split ring is needed/or desirable on a P64. The mags will drop free once the mag release is pressed, similar to a P38. On the Makarov they will not, unless the release is held back out of the way until the mag is free.

May 23, 2016 · I have many of my pistols fitted with the hogue fingergroove soft grips and I love the feel. I just bought a grip from "polishiron" for my P64, it fits perfectly and feels great in my hand, love it. Now to see how it feels when I go shoot it. I already replaced the springs with a set of Wolf springs and the trigger feels a lot better. Mike
