2021年6月11日 · Brazilian oil and gas major Petrobras has signed a contract with a joint venture formed by Saipem and DSME in the amount of $2.3 billion for the supply of P-79, the eighth unit to be installed in Búzios field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt area.

2021年6月15日 · Saipem and Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) have bagged a contract from Petróleo Brasileiro for the construction of the P-79 floating production storage and offloading vessel for the Búzios oil field in Brazilian waters.

2021年6月14日 · Scheduled for delivery in 2025, the P-79 FPSO will have the capacity to process 180,000 barrels of oil per day and 7.2 million cubic metres of gas per day. This will be the eighth unit to be installed in Búzios field, in the Santos Basin pre-salt area. The project involves the interconnection of 14 wells to the FPSO.

P79 PROJECT Petrobras awarded Saipem the EPCIC works for a large new built vessel for its Buzios Oil Field Development in 2,100 mt of water dept. This new FPSO will be able to process 180,000 bpd of oil and 254 mmscf/d of produced gas. The fabrication of the majority of 21 modules, for a total of 50,000 tons topside, are mainly fabricated in China.
