2017年6月22日 · Although Punkbuster stopped its updates for Call of Duty 4 and many other games, it’s still being used for original servers and competitions, so if you want to try them you need to replace the last Punkbuster files in the Cod4 folder.

2019年3月19日 · Look in your installation folder for BF4 and find the PB folder. Run the executable for Punkbuster and you will be set. It supposed to do it automatically the first time you launch the game but doesn’t always work. Reinstall PB from the files included or from the Punkbuster website.

You can download the necessary files below and simply copy the files from the download into the “pb” folder located within the respective Call of Duty game installation directory overwriting any files that are currently there.

2023年7月25日 · Delete the pbsvc app from the "PB" folder in the game files, you may need to end background processes for pbsvc in task manager in order to delete it. RSV2 doesn't have punkbuster servers anymore so it's not used for anything.

You can check if PunkBuster is installed on your computer by looking for the “pb” folder in the installation directory of the game you are playing. You can also use the pbsvc.exe program provided by Even Balance to test the status of PunkBuster on your computer.

Just download the appropriate pb folder and move it to the game folder. All missing files will be created from the existing ones. You might need to update your PBSvc, though.

2014年9月13日 · Now go to the folder pbsetuplegacy-modified you created in step 2 4. Execute pbsetup.exe and use it to update punkbuster for Call of Duty 4 (there is an image Howto.gif inside which also demonstrates the setup process)

2018年8月5日 · This is the latest pb folder for cod4. For some reasons, cod4 doesn't appear in pb list,when trying to install/update it, resulting kicks from pb-enabled server. Extract the files and check the readme for further instructions :)

2020年1月19日 · Download the PunkBuster, pb folder from here. Go to the CoD folder and rename the current pb folder to e.g. pb1; Extract the whole pb folder what you downloaded and copy paste into the Call of Duty folder to the same place where the previous one was
