2018年1月1日 · The Georgia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) is an electronic database used to monitor the prescribing and dispensing of controlled substances. The PDMP provides prescribers and pharmacists with critical information regarding a patient’s controlled substance prescription history.

As of July 1, 2017, management of the GA PDMP passes from the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency (GDNA) to the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH). Any and all questions, requests, search warrants, subpoenas, etc. should be directed to DPH on and after July 1, 2017. GDNA will no longer be able to answer any GA PDMP questions after that date.

When am I required by law to begin using the Georgia PDMP? You can begin using the system as soon as your account is activated by Georgia PDMP.
