
PKP class EP05 - Wikipedia
The EP05 (also manufactured as ZNTKiM Gdańsk 44E) is a Polish modification of Czech electric locomotive EU05 used by Polish railway operator (PKP). The locomotive was produced in the years 1957–1960 in three types: 20E1, the prototype, 30E1 and 30E2.

Elektrická lokomotiva řady EP05 byla vyvinuta v Škoda Plzeň. V letech 1959-61 bylo vyrobeno 61ks pro ČSD a současně dalších 30ks pro polské dráhy PKP ( označeno EU05) a 87ks pro SSSR pod označením Čs3. Lokomotivy byly díky rychlosti 120kmh určeny převážně pro osobní a rychlíkovou dopravu.
