PKP classification system (Polish locomotive designation) is a system of assigning letters and numbers to series and individual locomotives used by the PKP - Polish national railroad operator.

EU06 (also manufactured as AEI E) is a class of electric locomotives in service with the Polish state railway PKP. EU06 has driving cabs at both ends. The locomotives are equipped for multiple working which allows one driver to drive two coupled engines from one cab.

PKP class EP08 – Poland’s fastest “roarers” The 15 machines of class EP08 (nicknamed “świnie” = “pigs”) were, in their day, the fastest locos in Poland. Built by Pafawag in Wrocław in the 1970s, these speedy 3000V dc Bo-Bos were identified by being painted in orange liveries among a general sea of green!

As the first variant, the E4MSU was tested by PKP Cargo from 2013. This is a multi-system universal locomotive with a maximum speed of 160 km/h, but was only built once. The 200 km/h fast multi-system passenger locomotive E4MSP was not initially implemented.

Until March 2015 further six ex-PKP ET22s were modernized to this standard and sold to various private operators. Moreover, 201E-277 (ex-PKP) was used by Kuźnica Warężyńska sand mine and finally went to DB Schenker Rail Polska in April 2010.

PKP class EP07 is a class of standard-gauge electric locomotives used primarily for passenger trains in Poland. They are rebuilt EU07 class locomotives, which in turn are the direct successors to the post-war British EU06 series locomotives.
