What drove me to purchase was when they got their shit together over the past 4 years and started pumping real deal features. I love the fact that I don't have to buy a $100 amplified PTT for each brand of HT I want to be able to use my Comtac/AMPs ear pro on. I also love the fact that I can horde genuine PRC-152 batteries.

2021年1月18日 · When I toured Kandahar province I utilized the prc-152,117, 150, 148 GEMS, and the 1523f. I absolutely LOVED the versatility of the 152 because rather than carrying a 117 in heavy manpack configs... with the proper antenna, one could have the same SATCOM capabilities in a compact HH with the 152(different version of course).

2022年10月12日 · To connect the PRC152 and have it communicate properly with ATAK, you need a specific cable to work with your device, and the PRC152 needs to be correctly configured to work with the ATAK device.

I have both. The TRI internal speaker sucks ass (static and low volume, internal mic sucks too). If you plug in a TEA or speakermic on the TRI, the audio doesn't auto switch like the TCA.

Harris developed the AN/PRC-152 Falcon III that is currently being phased out for the new Harris 163.
