The Clansman PRC-320 is a lightweight HF/SSB radio station designed as part of the British Army's Clansman range of radio equipments for combat use throughout the world. It was used by long-range patrols and Special Forces because of its sky-wave range performance and hand generator system.

The 320 is a utilitarian, "get the job done", military radio. The internal tuner is manual and optimized for particular dipoles and wire lengths. A metal silk screened legend for use of the tuner is attached to the side of the radio.

UK/PRC-320 is a British solid state HF radio of the Clansman *- series, developed and built by Plessey enterprise. The landrover mounted version is the UK/VRC-321. It is used by patrols and special units and (due to the handbook) provides connections by ground wave up to 30 and by sky wave up to 320 km.

2013年10月15日 · The Clansman PRC-320 was used by the British Army and Cadet Forces in the Falklands and Gulf Wars and, since that time, I’ve always wanted one. What’s commonly known as a Combat Net Radio (CNR), the PRC-320 system can be used as a manpack (backpack) (See right) or vehicular radio.

Most Clansman sets apart from the UK/PRC-320, UK/PRC-350 and UK/PRC-349 have two push-down terminals allowing connection of a remote handset via D10 twisted pair cable. The 320 can also be connected using the CRL/R remote interface box.
