2006年3月21日 · The 360's output is pretty lousy as well. Pretty much any mid-range ($100) DVD player will have far better output and features. I also wouldn't particularly blow a lot of dough on a high end player. I picked up a Faroudja DCDi enabled player, and pretty much always switch off the upscaling routine.

Sony has a real shot at hitting that number in 1 1/2 with the PS3 Blu-Ray player, and for MUCH less than early adopters paid for their DVD players. So, by the belief that the number of players determining success and that 14M is a magic number, then Blu-Ray looks to be in very good shape

2006年4月23日 · Eh if you need good 4+ player multiplayer gaming just pick up a Cube or Xbox/Xbox 360. Two controller ports in this day and age is an abomination. Glad the PS3 fixes this (though from what I understand it support 7 wireless controllers but not 8. Weird) If you're stuck on the PS2 though, I hear Gitaroo Man is good.

2007年5月6日 · Nocturne is AWESOME.. Best ps2 rpg. Definitly falls into the dungeon crawler catagory.. Long, long dungeons with lot's of levels and the constant threat of death. Actually FF12 is also basicly a dungeon crawler and it's also amazing.

2007年6月22日 · To be fair, popular opinion of PS2 DVD playback was based on the early PS2 models, which were -- like most DVD players in 2000 -- quite horrible. Squeak is right though, the most later systems were decent and PSTwo is a very nice player for the price.

2025年3月3日 · If Dreamcast didn't botch Japan maybe they could've taken better advantage of the initial software situation for PS2 but, the fact it lacked DVD playback is what actually hurt it tremendously there and only a new Dreamcast model with a built-in DVD player (and maybe bundling their best games at the time) would've had any chance.

2007年2月5日 · Does the PS3 allow play of four player games on PS2 and PSone? Each of these consoles required a different multitap to play, so it would be especially awesome if games like Micro Machines V3, Bishi Bashi and Thrillville worked in four-player mode on the PS3.
