2011年6月10日 · The 40 gig PS3 was apparently built with cheaper parts (well, the Blu-ray drive at least), so try to get a used 60, 80 or 160 gig. Also, the 40 gig units are not backwards compatible and do not have as many usb ports or have a card reader.

2008年3月5日 · I noticed on a friends redemption ps3 40gig, that there was no grill/air vent at the front. unlike the 60gig version. not really a feature, but seeing how these units could get pretty warm, i would prefer as much air ventilation as possible ....

2009年10月8日 · Just wondering what you guys think, if I should get a PS3 40GB for $379 or a P3 Slim for $470? Any input would be appreciated. Thank you! The 40GB PS3 has proved to be pretty reliable. The slim is still unknown over a year or two. Personally I would still get the slim though..but I wouldn't pay $470 unless I had a good game bundled.
