2016年5月2日 · Thanks Chris! I should have used this method, but I just used my extractor pump, drained and refilled several times with Kia Motors Power Steering Fluid. All in all, I used 4 350 mL bottles. The fluid is now a very light pink. I had spoken with the service dept at the local Kia dealership and was told this would be a fine way to do it.

If you were pull out the lube chart printed in the owner's manual of any Hyundai vehicle manufactured during the mid-to-late 1990's, the power steering fluid would be listed as "ATF Dexron II, PSF-3 type fluid". The original PSF-3 product was Dexron II.

As such, I am in the process of trying to flush the power steering fluid in my 2007 Optima myself. The manual says to use PSF 4, but I am having a great deal of difficulty finding anything with that labeling in my local auto part stores.

I've called around a few local car part stockists, and no-one seems to stock any PSF-4 compatible fluid, and all of them referred me to the dealer. So I asked my local Kia Dealer, who were unable to help, and unable to provide the original PSF-4 fluid.

The all-new PSF4 is currently available though the Kia Parts order desk, P/N 03100 00130. The main difference between PSF4 and PSF3 is its viscosity. Power Steering Fluid PSF4 will perform better in lower temperatures/colder climates.

2019年2月10日 · The van has 137k miles. I recently purchased it with no history of maintenance. Therefore, I'd like to flush and replace the fluid. The owner's manual of 2006 Sedona EX describes that power steering fluid: Classification: PSF III; Volume capacity: 1.06 US qt (1 liter). Kia's recommendation seems relevant to the 2006 era.
