2018年11月29日 · Major Differences Finish PTR used black paint and Century parkerized. Century retained the Grenade launcher mount for the front sight and muzzle device while PTR did not. The welds on the Century rifle actually look cleaner. There was some effort to grind them and smooth them out. The PTR welds, while likely fine are much more visible.

2022年8月25日 · Hey so I though that you all may find this interesting. I reached out to PTR by email and asked if they would ever make a 5.56 clone. I’ve been on the search for a while and have had good luck with my PTRs so I thought an HK93 clone made by them would be kinda cool.

PTR wouldn’t have those issues being completely American made. I get it though and I will say I’m happy Century finally just blew the bottom out of the MP5 market with their $1000 base offerings. I’d absolutely love to see the same thing happen with a HK 33 clone or even a G3 clone.

Finally got in the PTR C93 that popped up in gundeals back in July. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet, but there’s already a couple upgrades I’d like to do. First change will be a mount and a red dot since I’m really struggling with the diopter sight.

As far as I know it is just based on a g3 / 91, and the plastic lower is a knockoff navy lower made by ptr. Other than that they seem to be identical at this point in time. 2024年4月25日 · HK 91 vs PTR-91 I found an HK 91 online with a claw mount, bipod, and leupold scope, pretty much exactly what I would like to have. That being said, it is more than 4x the price I can find a PTR-91 for online, an immediately usable rifle which would allow me to practice while saving up to buy the other parts.

With PTR supplying the barrel, compliance parts and building them including setting headspace/bolt gap I couldn't say no for $550.00. That's cheap AR money for a roller locking range toy. Reply reply

So I’ve been hitting refresh literally every hour to catch one. There were 10 or so for sale Sunday around 3:00 and I missed it. This is a well built and warrantied roller delayed rifle in 5.56 for Glock money. I believe some people have emailed PTR and gotten responses that there are no more than 800, somewhere around 600 went on preorder.
