2021年9月7日 · I finally got a chance to take the Packtenna out portable to do some testing. It comes with around 40ft of wire on it that can be trimmed for 20m which is what I did. You can also add an additional 31ft and get 40-20-15-10. It is super compact and is super light weight.

2021年3月6日 · The POTA ID is K-4443, and is located in down town Las Vegas. I used the PackTenna Mini End Fed Half Wave, and in about 45 minutes made 24 contacts including North Pole, Alaska. The PackTenna Mini EFHW has been the easiest and one of the best antennas I have used to date. This antennas is also extremely small, making POTA and SOTA work easier.

2023年10月10日 · I have a 9:1 PackTenna that I'll swear by! Very similar in design, it is efficient, easy to carry and deploy, and is my go-to for HF. I can increase or decrease the length by hooking up jumpers connected by 3mm banana clips in-line for when I'm at a location/summit where there may not be enough room for all 74 feet of deployed wire.

2021年9月7日 · I don't consider the Buddihex a POTA friendly antenna. In a earlier YouTube video W4FDT and N4DJR mentioned it took two people 20 minutes to assemble the Buddihex in Alaska. In the field, by myself, I want setup in 10 minutes or less. I can achieve this with a Buddistick or PackTenna Mini wire antenna. I'll pass on this one.

2022年4月22日 · I was curious about the "new Packtenna mini EFHW 40/20" which was prominent in the post's title, only to find precious little info on the antenna or installation in the video. And I didn't criticize the specific member - only cookie-cutter POTA activation videos. At least the Hernando de Soto and CCC rabbit holes were educational.
