2006年12月18日 · PageMan is introduced, a multiplatform, user-friendly, and stand-alone software tool that annotates, investigates, and condenses high-throughput microarray data in the context of functional ontologies, enabling researchers to gain a rapid overview of the biological responses in the experiments.

In this paper we describe PageMan, a software tool which facilitates an ontologically-defined overview of the global response of the transcriptome. It provides a statisticallybased overview of the enriched functional categories from global transcriptome responses, and can be viewed either in tabular form, or via a false color heat-map like display.

MapMan is a software tool that supports the visualization of profiling data sets in the context of existing knowledge. Scavenger modules generate hierarchical and essentially non-redundant gene ontologies (‘mapping files’). An ImageAnnotator module visualizes the data on a gene-by-gene basis on schematic diagrams (‘maps’) of biological processes.
