Prey Lang is the largest lowland evergreen forest complex in Cambodia, and probably in the Indo-Burma biodiversity hotspot. It covers approximately 500,000 hectares west of the Mekong River in the Central Plains of Cambodia and stretches over four provinces: Kratie, Kampong Thom, Stung Treng and Preah Vihear.

The forest cover approximately 5000 square kilometers and is located west of the Mekong River in the northern part of Cambodia.
