I had never heard of a military thermal using an automatic NUC before this one, only the handheld thermal scanner employ an automatic NUC on the array?

2010年1月8日 · I'm a big fan of the gen 1 Steiner C35 which still come up on the used market. It is one hell of a clip-on, equal or superior in almost every way to my much more expensive mil-spec AN/PAS-13G. I use it as a clip-on at least once a week and in a handheld role multiple times per week using a Vortex Defender lens cap as a pseudo-eyepiece.

I have an L3 PAS-23 MTM-Pi 640px thermal monocular. Basically looks and behaves just like a regular 320px MTM, just with higher resolution. It’s an oldie, but a goodie, so I’m looking for another one. I loaned mine to a buddy and failed to tell him NOT to point it directly at the SUN(!!). So, now mine has permanent burn-in.
