2025年3月11日 · The Department of Education (DepEd) has commissioned the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC), through its National Secretariat, to establish a quality assurance certification mechanism that would confirm ESC participating private junior high schools’ compliance with DepEd’s standards for recognition.

The Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) is a five (5)-member committee constituted to serve as trustee of the Fund for Assistance to Private Education (FAPE), a permanent and irrevocable trust fund.

PART I: Letter of Intent addressed to the PEAC Executive Director; Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Registration; Government Recognition for the Junior High School Program (should bear the same school name as that in the latest SEC Registration).

Voucher Applicants are highly discouraged from submitting multiple applications. All applications shall be coursed through PEAC NS via the Online Voucher Application Portal (OVAP) at http://ovap.deped.gov.ph. DepEd shall not accept submissions of applications.

Recently renamed the PEAC National Secretariat (so as not to confuse with the trust fund), the organization, as directed by the PEAC, manages and develops programs of assistance to private education and participates in initiatives affecting the sector.
