Wesley's Notes for Philippians 2:10. 2:10 That every knee - That divine honour might be paid in every possible manner by every creature. Might bow - Either with love or trembling. Of those in heaven, earth, under the earth - That is, through the whole universe.

What does Philippians 2:10 mean? Part of the result of Jesus being highly exalted (Philippians 2:9) is that all people, ultimately, will be in submission to Him.
