2010年3月4日 · I think it still must be the cache causing hte false 0ms ping test...because everytime I turn it to manual it's got a ping of about 6+ or so, 4-10 is about right for the distance we are from Telstra. Not sure why speedtest.net does it, but running a tracert to Telstraclear brings back a ping of about 8ms for the first hop which sounds about right

2019年5月13日 · A lot can influence that ping, from your internal routing configuration to the routers on the way (for example, since ICMP Echo is the lowest priority, if a router is busy enough it can elect to ignore the ping, or delay it until it has enough time to respond). As was said previously, it also depends on exactly which cable your traffic flows over.

2025年2月2日 · As of recent I've been having ping issues when trying to connect to overseas servers, Sydney specifically. In the past around 3 months ago I'd get a stable and consistent 41-44ms when connecting to Sydney servers but now I am sitting around 54ms+ Unstable.

2013年3月1日 · EDIT: My ping times to the WXC speedtest server shows 5-6ms. I guess the Speedtest server is mis-reporting! I guess the Speedtest server is mis-reporting! On another note, I see that WXC seems to be the only Auckland SpeedTest site now?

2024年12月4日 · I don't know what has changed over the past 2 weeks but I have gone from 46ms Ping to 117ms Ping to all AU Counter-Strike 2 servers (no packet loss), my friends are in the same area but with a different ISP have not had this issue. 2025年2月28日 · I only realised this because Firewalla does internet quality monitoring every 15 mins and noticed that even if we are using minimal internet the ping / packet loss to 1.1.1.1 goes from 0% to up to 8-9% loss during peak hours. Ping time also increases and they all return back to baseline around 10pm. Worst from 5-9pm.

Set the IPv6 address range, e.g. from ::1000 to ::2000. In the DNS server, add your IPv6 address to the LAN interface (Interface -> Overview) Save the settings.
