2014年9月29日 · PMMC G5 (Protected Mission Module Carrier G5) is a new multi-role tracked armoured personnel carrier (APC) designed and manufactured by Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG), a company based in Germany. The APC can be configured with a variety of standard mission equipment on a common chassis to meet a variety of mission requirements.

The PMMC G5 provided FFG with the know-how and experience that were ultimately decisive in commissioning the development of the Armoured Combat Support Vehicle ACSV G5 for the Norwegian Army. The first prototype of the ACSV G5 has already been extensively tested; series production will begin in 2021.

Based on the lessons learned from more than 1,600 upgraded vehicles in numerous international projects, as well as the extensive testing and trials of FFG's PMMC G5, all have been incorporated into the final design of the ACSV G5. The ACSV G5 uses latest technologies and represents the current state of the art of tracked vehicles.

On May 30, 2018, FFG announced the contract with the Norwegian Defense Material Agency (NDMA) for the delivery of the Armored Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV). Under this contract, FFG will supply its PMMC G5 tracked armored platforms in versions of at least an armored personnel carrier, command and medical vehicles, as well as a container truck.
