Who needs a draft book customized for personal use? Whose family needs to be invited to a PODD training to see how this tool works with their child?

A suite of PODD workshops, developed by Gayle Porter and presented by certified PODD presenters, is available to meet the varied professional learning needs of participants including speech pathologists, education teams, other allied health practitioners and family members.

Discover the world of Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD). PODD is a comprehensive communication system for people with a communication disability who cannot meet all their communication needs with speech. Our PODD workshops are presented by Janelle Sampson, Two Way Street Director and Speech Pathologist.

PODD, created by speech pathologist Gayle Porter, is a way of organizing whole word and symbol vocabulary to provide immersion and modeling as well as a means to express a range of messages in a variety of environments. There are PODD Pagesets to provide multiple options to suit the communication and language requirements of different individuals.

Podd is an educational game for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron published by Acornsoft in 1984. The main character, Podd, teaches verbs, performing an appropriate animation when a recognised word is typed. The object of the game is to find the 120 verbs that Podd recognizes.
