The Festungsfront Oder-Warthe-Bogen (Fortified Front Oder-Warthe-Bogen), also called the Festung im Oder-Warthe-Bogen or Ostwall (East Wall), and in Polish the Międzyrzecki Rejon Umocniony, MRU (Międzyrzecz Fortification Region), was a fortified military defence line of Nazi Germany between the Oder and Warta rivers, near Międzyrzecz.

2015年12月3日 · The Festungsfront Oder-Warthe-Bogen (OWB) or in Polish; Międzyrzecki Rejon Umocniony (MRU), is a fortified defense-line and part of a larger network of fortifications, bunkers and observation posts along the Oder and Warthe rivers, near the former border of Germany with Poland and Czechoslovakia before the outbreak of WW2.

It’s situated in western Poland between rivers: Oder and Warta. Even today it remains one of the most enormous systems of this type. The Miedzyrzecz Reinforced Region is a net of reinforced concrete bunkers, steel domes, and kilometers of concrete antitank barriers called “dragon teeth”.
