Popeye Village Malta has grown from its days as a Film Set of the 1980 Musical Production 'Popeye' into one of the major tourist attractions in Malta.

Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven Village, is a purpose-built film set village that has been converted into a small attraction fun park, consisting of a collection of rustic and ramshackle wooden buildings. It is located at Prajjet Bay/Anchor Bay, 3 km (2 mi) from the village core of Mellieħa, Malta.

Popeye Village, also known as Sweethaven Village was built as the film set of the 1980 Musical Production ‘Popeye’ produced by Paramount Pictures and Walt Disney Productions. It is located in Anchor Bay, just three kilometres from the village of Mellieha and was constructed in 1979.

Once a film set of the 1980 musical production, Popeye Village is now a fun-filled tourist attraction. Here, you can have meet and greets with Popeye and the gang, try being a movie star for a day, hit the mini golf course, explore the elaborate interiors of set houses, take a whirl on a water trampoline, and check out the Popeye Comic Museum.
