
What is the correct way to open port 7000 or 7001 for seed nodes?
2016年11月6日 · I will use port 7001 eventually to enable SSL security, but for the sake of brevity, I will use 7000 for this post. I successfully managed to make seed nodes communicate with each other by opening port 7000, but there is one thing I'm worried about. When I opened port 7000 on Amazon Web Services, I got a warning as seen in the following picture.

So my complete list would be for current versions of Cassandra: 7199 - JMX (was 8080 pre Cassandra 0.8.xx) 7000 - Internode communication (not used if TLS enabled) 7001 - TLS Internode communication (used if TLS enabled)

2021年11月2日 · Port 7000 is used for inter-node communication within the cluster... Unless SSL is enabled. Then port 7001 is used. Try port 7001 instead. You're going to need a SSL cert from the same CA (certificate authority) as the other nodes in the cluster.
