The PT2399 is a CMOS echo/delay processor developed by Princeton Technology Corp. This digital chip includes an ADC (Analog to Digital converter), 44Kb of RAM to store the samples and a DAC (Digital to Analog converter).

Killing the clean signal will give you a vibe effect rather than chorus. To do this simply remove R4. You can add this on a switch if you like. The neatest way is on a DPDT switch, but you can do it with a SPST or SPDT if you’re happy to have the resistor hanging.

Jenny GreenTeeth started off as an experiment in making a chorus effect using the PT2399. Chorus is created by passing the signal through a very short delay line, somewhere between about 8ms and 25ms. The delay time is modulated and the delayed sgnal is mixed back with the original un-delayed signal.

2011年10月29日 · It has 55 parts, compared to 48 for the Little Angel and 68 for the Small Clone. Granted, it's probably has more noise than they do, but I'm working on that. This chorus works like the Boss DC-2, with two delay lines, one with its LFO signal inverted. This means that while one is pitch shifting up the other is pitch shifting down, and vice versa.

2015年8月12日 · Here's a simple, fairly low parts count chorus based around a PT2399, designed by Rick Holt (aka Frequency Central) from the DIYStompboxes forum. I've drawn 2 versions, one with board-mounted pots, and one off-board pots. The 2nd IC (NE5532 in the layout) can be any dual op-amp (a TL072 works well), just socket and experiment.
