2018年9月26日 · What you are looking at here is the Pvkv II, a tank destroyer based on the Strv m/41 chassis (which is a Swedish license produced modified version of the Czech TNH tank). Two prototypes were built in the early 50's, one armed with the Bofors 7,5cm L/60 Lvkan m/37 anti aircraft gun (pictured above) and one with the 57mm Pvkan m/43.

Pvkv 2's gunhandling is rubbish, the gun wobble is insane even from slightest movement. Also for some reason it has weirdly long reload of 13 seconds. Otherwise neat ridge humper with that gun depression. Ikv 103's shell velocity is probably the lowest for this BR, and takes a lot of time to get used to as a newish player. Plus heat postpen things.

PVKV 3 is still far better than the 4 though, you can just easily snipe enemies with actual penetrating shells from far range, and also survive due to your crew being in 2 separate compartments. Reply reply

2022年1月12日 · Just started playing it a bit myself, love the Pvkv II, had some of my best games yet in that one. Having a Macgyvered on antiair barrel just feels bad ass but man is the whole thing unstable. Feels like the m/43 is leagues better in that regard so I anticipate fun times ahead!

2021年11月27日 · Pvkv II is possibly best swedish tank for its tier. That you complain about its lack of armor shows you are using it wrong. Don’t get shot, use its excellent gun depression and fantastic scope to your advantage by sniping over any hill or ridge you can find.

2024年6月23日 · Did the PVKV 3 have an experimental squeeze bore cannon that could fire 57 and 75mm or something? It's obviously been leftover when they lazily copy and pasted the pvkv 2 but what's ridiculous is they went to the trouble of changing the turret ammo but couldn't be bothered with the ones in the hull? Did the modelling team run out of budget or ...
