2006年12月26日 · I'm getting confused about what to use for the "M" term in q = MCAT For example: 20 g of of NaCl is poured into a coffee cup calorimeter containing 250ml of water. If the temp. inside drops by 1 degree Celcius by the time the NaCl is totally dissolved, what is the heat of solution for...

2020年5月1日 · $\begingroup$ @Mäßige Yes. It's a cheap setup. Instead, you could have the reaction vessel in a calorimeter heat bath, and either keep the bath temperature constant (isothermal calorimetry) or almost constant (traditional large heat bath).

q=MCAT | Student Doctor Network
2013年7月5日 · Hey guys I had a few questions about this equation. Does the q stand for the change in energy that must be provided (or removed) to change the temp of a substance? How would you conceptually tackle a problem that involves combining a hot substance with a cool that come together to an equilibrium...
q = mct - The Student Room
Hello, stupid question but what are the units for each of these things? q = kj? m = g or kg? c = JKg (little-1's after the K and g) delta t = Kelvin or degrees?

2018年10月18日 · Basically, using q=mcat (m is mass of water, 45, plus mass of solution, 5) to find q of 5 grams $\ce{CaCl2}$ and 45 ml water, and then, assuming if we double the mass we double the q, work backwards? (If my logic is wrong, I think it occurs in this assumption)

When to use Kelvin and Celsius? | Student Doctor Network
2006年11月3日 · whenever you are dealing with a change in temp, it doesen't matter which one you use, for example the specific heat equation q=m*c*(change in temp). if you heat up something 100 degrees, it goes from 0 deg celcius to 100 deg celcius, converting to kelvin it goes from 273 K to 373 K, the difference is still 100 so either can be used in the equation.
