I cried just as much over the so-called antagonists as I did whenever Lanzhou or Ce’an suffered a loss. So much admiration and appreciation for the translators and their hard work!

Because of Shen Wei's supposed betrayal, our mc gets implicated and is forced to bear the consequence of Shen Wei's "rebellion". The book starts with MC in prison and basically just being abused.
