These bolts, along with LMT's eBolt, are by far the strongest in the ar15 world. The bolt uses a lobster tail extractor which increases grip on the cartridge. It also has a relocated pivot point for more mechanical advantage.

For range and home defense definitely 5.56. while 300Blk may be more fun to shoot suppressed it isn't as cost effective for range trips. Personally I would recommend starting from a stripped upper and lower and building out your rifle how you want it.

2022年11月10日 · Interested in building one as well, been looking at the Klein Machining upper but mostly his barrels, .936" chrome lined bull barrel. Brent0331 has a couple videos on the upper assembly on YouTube seems like a good concept though I think a non free float handguard would actually be more ideal for this situation for the heat shield and minimize barrel flex.
