Started to experience a memory leak with the latest Quicken Windows Subscription version update (Version: R29.20; Build: 27.1.29.20) when running One Step Update. When the process reaches "Sync to Quicken Cloud", task manager shows the qw.exe process consuming increasing amounts of memory until the application crashes.

Try downloading the patch installer from here: Update and Mondo Patch: Subscription Release of Quicken for Windows And right click on the install file and select Run As Administrator.

Also, thank you for the additional information, that is useful and you might be on to something. If the issue still doesn't resolve after installing R29.20, could you navigate to your budget settings and check your category selections to make sure that the main category that is problematic is also selected and not just subcategories, please?

Ver R29.22: I just added several brokerage accounts and used the 'simple investing' option instead of 'complete investing' in the create account dialog box. But the accounts were created with complete transactions and it was necessary to use the 'edit account details' dialog box to convert to 'tracking method: simple - positions only'.

R29.9 introduced the method with RtrnCapX/MiscIncX/Add Shares. Any 'recent' version prior to R29 should be using the Remove Shares / Add Shares method. I don't have info on the last R28.xx version. Much older program versions (c. 2016 and before?) used a backdated approach with RtrnCap and Buy Shares transactions.

Quicken for Windows R29.12 The attached screen shot shows my projected balance on the Home page and my Bill and income reminders. The popup dialog for the daily balance shows the correct opening balance, but then shows a huge overdue Bills or Income (-$12,663.71), which should be 0.

Using Quicken version R29.22, build 27.1.29.22. I have a couple of accounts (of about a dozen total) that have stopped downloading transactions via Online Services. They used to, but seem to have gotten "broken" along the way, even though I didn't make any changes to them (but have installed a number of releases naturally).

After I received this message the first time, I updated to Version R29.12 Build 27.1.29.12 and still have the problem. I have tried signing out and back in with the same account id as someone suggested but continue to have the same problem.
