R32 is only allowed because we relaxed the combustible standard on refrigerant gasses. The reason R410a is half r32 and half r125 is to bring the flammability down.
Refrigerant ---> R32 vs R-410a : r/hvacadvice - Reddit
2021年10月7日 · R-410A is 50:50 mixture of R-32 and R-125. Systems based on R-32 are newer since R-32 AC will be replacing R-410A in many markets due to lower global warming potential (675:2088). R-32 itself is a better refrigerant than R-410A but is classified as mildly flammable.
R-32 line sets : r/hvacadvice - Reddit
2024年4月28日 · It's a rather large home (~5900sqft) the architect specified 3 units (one 5 tons and two 3 tons) I'm partial to daikin as I installed two in the past on other projects and am happy with them (a DX9 at my brothers and Fit at my dads) My question is regarding copper line sets and how they relate/change with incoming R-32 refrigerant.
Low-GWP refrigerants (R32, R454B) and California : r/hvacadvice
2023年3月15日 · The refrigerant loop is a closed loop, so the actual refrigerant in the system will have zero impact on global warming and during the units expected service life if installed and maintained properly the system should require no additional refrigerant. That said, Systems do fail and leaks can happen so the phase out of R410a is happening, it was pushed back to 2025 for new units because yes ...

Is this R-410 ban in 2025 really going to happen? Or will it ... - Reddit
R410a is a blend of r32 and r125. 50/50 ratio. R32 is a single molecule refrigerant, it's major downside is high discharge temperature. High discharge temperature will directly corelate to increased compressor failure. This is why most manufacturers are going to r454b. It's 2/3rds r32 and 1/3 r1234yf.
