Jun 29, 2008 · I am able to go about 180 to 200 miles before my fuel light comes on, and then when i refill the tank i calculate the gas milage i am getting and it is roughly 50 to 55 mpg. The more highway (70-80mph) milage i have on the tank the closer to 50 mpg. But when i do backroads (55-65mph) my fuel economy is closer to 55+mpg.

Feb 8, 2008 · My 07 R6 only gives me about 120 miles of fairly leisurely town riding before the petrol light comes on, and according to the Yamaha manual, it's only got about 15 or so miles in reserve. Seems odd, cos my last Kawasaki ZX-6R 636 with a bigger engine gave me at about 160 miles to a tank (which was no bigger than the R6's).
