The Federal Signal 3T22 and 2T22 are dual-tone, mechanical outdoor warning sirens made by Federal Signal Corporation (formerly Federal Sign and Signal Corporation) from 1952 through the early 1990s. Both have a very recognizable design, with a ten-port rotor (chopper) on the bottom with ten cones (horns) and a 12-port one on top with twelve cones.

The Fire signal was used on the Federal Thunderbolt 1003 and Federal 3T22 sirens for the option to also use a Civil Defense siren as a volunteer fire department call-in siren. 2025年3月21日 · The Model 2T22 and Model 3T22 (2 or 3 Tone, 22 horns/ports) are a pair of dual rotor omnidirectional sirens that were produced by Federal Signal over a span of nearly 40 years. These are some of the most well-known and iconic sirens with a distinctive sound and are still commonly found today.

The Federal Thunderbolt 1003 and 3T22 are capable of coding the "Fire" signal using air valves to alternately cycle on and off the air flow through the high and low tones of their dual tone rotors. The 3T22 used air valving on the air intakes of the upper and lower siren rotors.

3T22 113dB Siren The 113dB Model 3T22 siren, like the Thunderbolt Model 1003, is a dual-tone three-signal siren. The 3T22 produces a fire signal, an alert signal and an attack warning signal. Federal 3T22 The Federal 2T22 siren is a dual tone siren, which is essentially one siren on top of another siren with the siren motor in the middle. Federal added air valves to each air intake of the top and bottom parts of the 2T22 siren to make it possible to alternately (or simultaneously) shut off the air to each air intake of the siren.

2010年8月9日 · The RC6 which is bascily an RC5 with a solenoid flasher, uses an eddy wheel flasher (same one used on the RCM-3), which accounts for the slow start up to the "fire" signal. The flashers function is to energize and de-energize or "flash" the solenoids.

2022年8月16日 · I'm in search of a better wiring diagram for this siren. I have a 33 page manual from fs, but I'm looking for a more in depth diagram showing values and such. Contacted fs, they did give us the 33pg manual but it covers 6 models (kindof like an old Chiltons manual). Looking for more specific. what specific siren? Its 208/240 system.
