The RCA X552 is a AC/DC operated 5 tube BC band receiver. Has phono input jack. Uses Qty (2) type 47 dial lamps. Cabinet color is Ivory. The BC band frequency range is 540 to 1600kHz. Early production models used a 500Kohm volume control, which was changed to a 1 Megohm volume control on late production models.

2020年2月12日 · From 1951, this RCA sports a black urethane repaint and restored chassis. Originally ivory white, the Bakelite cabinet now has an automotive grade black refinish. All paper and electrolytic capacitors were replaced on the five-tube chassis, tubes and resistors checked and alignment peaked.

2025年1月13日 · Vintage RCA Victor Model X-552 tube radio. The radio has excellent reception. I was able to pick up 6 stations loud and clear. There is a hum when the radio is first powered up but it goes away after a few minutes. No chips or cracks to the case, but there are a few small paint chips (see photos). Auctioned as-is for parts or restoration.
