The Rat is a species of animal found in Red Dead Redemption 2. Rats are small, non-threatening rodents that live in the wilderness and towns. They are omnivores, eating scavenged food, grains, seeds, and small animals.

Using the best weapons to hunt a Rat in Red Dead 2, will reward you with a Perfect Quality Kill. Since this animal is omnivorous you should use Predator Bait and Herbivore Bait to attract it in the wild.

2022年5月10日 · There’s actually a mission at the furthest north bar in Saint Denis, if you go in there ready with a bow with small game arrows you can get a lot of perfect rats. It is a mission where you have to clear out this guys bar that’s infested with rats.

2019年8月9日 · There’s a cave over by the Elysian Pool up near Annesberg that usually is stocked up. You can sometimes find 3* rats in Limpany, too. I'm not sure, but I'll bet you can find them in Van Horn Trading Post, and down near the docks in Saint Denis, too. I just did this 5 minutes ago for Wildlife Art Exhibition.

2020年10月5日 · between the two saint denis missions in the 2nd bar, you can get upwards of 20 perfect rat carcasses. used to be that the cave under the waterfall in new hanover where you go for one of the treasure hunts had loads of rats. I farmed it on my first playthrough around release when i missed the missions.

I first thought I could find them in cities and towns, since in RL they're known for being "culture followers", so e.g. they're accustomed to humans and live from remains we leave behind e.g. thrown away food.
