2018年1月2日 · My solution...a Harbor Freight drywall lift. I move the RTT to the side of my Jeep, raise it up, and slide the RTT onto my Gobi roof rack. I did some tweaks to the lift to make it a safe solo job.

2021年12月17日 · The Thule Multi lift is a good hoist system that is easy to use as long as you can anchor it into the rafters. I have see some gantry style lifts that some people have as well as some carts that people will slide the tens down off the roof with some 2x6’s and then load them into the lift system.

2017年11月11日 · Instead of a wooden shelf, I put some hooks into the ceiling (into the joists to support weight) and use swing chain to support the weight of the RTT in storage. If you want to use this hoist setup to lift a hardtop or RTT, then you'll need to deviate in one specific way from the directions I posted.

Planning on using a hoist remove and store my RTT and came across the following product while I was looking for garage storage for bikes and such. Anyone think this won't work?

We tried one of the Harken garage hoists intended for kayaks which had the weight capacity for our RTT (iKamper Skycamp 3.0 Mini), but we weren't super confident about how the system suspended 125 pounds above the roof of the truck.

2022年9月8日 · There are 2 types of ceiling storage systems for your rooftop tent. The first ceiling hoist is operated by a 12v motor and the second is mechanical which uses a rope and pulley system, along with the strength of your arms!

2023年2月22日 · Anyone know of a good pulley hoist garage storage system rated for more than 200 pounds? My RTT is 200#, and I prefer never to max out on capacity, but I haven't found an option with higher weight capacity. Thanks in advance for any help! Pics and links appreciated.

2016年6月13日 · Check out the Wrangler forums. They use powered winchs and pullies to lift their hard tops on and off. There's aftermarket hoist systems and I don't see why they wouldn't work for you
