Is the RTX 2070 overkill for 1080p gaming? : r/nvidia - Reddit
Look at the GTX 980, when it came out it was a 1440p card, but now it is a lower end 1080p card. I think of GPU performance in terms of time. While a GTX 1060 may be more than adequate for 1080p 60 right now, what rendering techniques will we be using after the next gen consoles come out which will push our cards in 2-4 years?
RTX 3080 for 1080p 144hz : r/nvidia - Reddit
2020年12月8日 · But generally, I'd say 3080 would be a decent choice for 1080p. And at the same time, you'll open up the option to go for 240hz+ or 1440p at some point too. As someone with only 2060 super, I couldn't even push constant 144fps on 1080p all low on cod MW ground war (which was gpu bottlenecked for me), so you definitely want some oomph even for ...
Is an rtx 3070 overkill for 1080p ? : r/nvidia - Reddit
For 1080p. You want to play all of your games on high/ultra, with RTX on, while maintaining high refresh: RTX 3080 is the pick considering future AAA games. Same as (1) but with RTX off: 3070 will work for future AAA games. Same as (2) but without high refresh: 3060 (not even Ti, if it exists) is probably good enough.
RTX 4070 or 4070ti for 1080p gaming : r/nvidia - Reddit
2023年4月10日 · 13 votes, 66 comments. true. Well, if you're going to keep it for 5-6 years you would do well buying the RTX 4070ti for that extra ~~20% performance headroom, but if your budget is stretched thin already there's nothing wrong with RTX 4070 for 1080p gaming.
RTX 4070 or RTX 4070 SUPER for 1080p gaming : r/nvidia - Reddit
Hi, as I mentioned in the title I wanted to ask you what you would recommend me to choose for the PC I want to buy namely either it would be ASUS DUAL RTX 4070 OC or ASUS DUAL RTX 4070 SUPER? My processor is i5-14500 and my motherboard is b760 with DDR5 6400mhz. I will be playing in 1080p and have no plans to change the monitor in the near future.
4090 on 1080p : r/buildapc - Reddit
2023年1月24日 · Throwing a 4090 at 1080p is like throwing a 16 core CPU at a game that is purely single thread. Most of the CUDA cores on the card won't do anything since there are way moire than is needed to parallelize rendering at 1080p. Definitely upgrade that monitor to at least 1440p, ideally 4 K.
1080p or 1440p for the RTX 3060? : r/nvidia - Reddit
2022年4月16日 · I second this. I was stuck on a 25" 1080p monitor until I got the 3080 Ti, then upgraded to 27" 1440p. And just for fun I decided to check how 1108p (NIS-speak for 1080p) scaled with NIS looks like on my new monitor and I was very pleased with the result, looked at least as good as 25" 1080p native. Makes me think that a 28" 4K monitor would ...
Would an RTX 3090 at 1080p be a bad idea? : r/buildapc - Reddit
2020年10月17日 · It seems to check all the boxes of stuff that I’m looking for, but I’m a little weary of 1080p resolution with high-end specs that include an i9-10900K and an RTX 3090 (Asus ROG OC Edition). I’ve heard several things about “bottlenecking” at a lower resolution and am a …
RTX 4070 for 1080p? : r/buildapc - Reddit
2023年10月30日 · I have an RTX 4070 and i7-12700F + 240Hz 1080p display, so quite similar to you. This GPU is basically perfect for 1080p gaming. I get 110FPS on RT Overdrive in Cyberpunk and Baldurs Gate is also buttery smooth (havent checked exact fps)
4080 or 4090 for 1080P : r/nvidia - Reddit
For 1080p AMD cards are faster due to lower overhead, Nvidia cards scale better at higher resolution, for example 4k. So for 1080p the best bang for the buck right now is 6950XT, costs like 600€, but is almost as fast as the RTX 4080 in purely raster. So if you go 1080p, 6950XT is insanely fast and really cheap right now, can't be beaten.
