2013年10月29日 · The only alloy I've seen in the $100-$130 price point that appears to use some sort of pressure cast wheel is MSR Wheels ( tires23 carries these btw ) which allegedly uses "counter-pressure-casting" technologies ( cited in the link below ) - and - claims their wheels are made in the U.S.A ( California ) instead of China.

I found that many Fast Wheels are “flow formed”, which is a slightly higher quality manufacturing process that enables the wheels to be a bit lighter, and the prices were just marginally higher.

But of the 2 - RTX & FAST - FAST sells at a bit of a slightly higher price point.

2019年9月30日 · In simpler terms, forged wheels rated for the same load are typically a lot lighter than cast wheels. Flow formed is somewhere in between. In my case, my OEM cast wheels are roughly 29 lbs each, but a flow formed aftermarket wheel for my vehicle can be 22 lbs or less. Depending on what you're doing, cast is just fine.

2016年8月19日 · I got some RTX OE Cosmos rims for my winter tires last year, so I've only used them for one season so far. I've had no issues at all, they seem to be good and prices are very reasonable. Quality-wise I doubt they're completely up to OEM standards, but they're "good enough" and for a winter tire package they're fine.
