When we traded our last toad, the dealer couldn't wait to get his hands on it. In Florida, there are lots of Rvers looking for ready-to-go cars.

The toad has a blue ox faceplate, and I have the blue ox tow bar, an even brake brake system, the Rand McNally RV gps, drop down hitch and lots of other RV accessories and assorted stuff.

2018年4月30日 · Friends, Thanks for all the replies. That's what makes these forums great. I was hoping for a shortcut to plug the 4 wire flat connector into a 6 connector at the front of the toad then using a 7-6 coiled cord to connect the RV to the toad lights.

2013年9月10日 · I had to remove backup light connection and replace with the charge line. I also changed the 20 amp fuse with a 20 amp self healing breaker. You would want to also put a breaker at the toad battery end. Most pepole figure that you can leave out the diode. I chose to use a Toad-Charge module at the toad end.

2012年8月17日 · We bought a 2012 CR-V in the spring. We towed for about 5 hours to an RV park and set up with no toad problems. When we left a few days later we towed two days in a row without unhitching (just the normal routine for cycling through the transmission). Arriving at the RV park and unhitching, the battery was dead.

2011年1月8日 · I have a 2008 Liberty that I use as a toad and dailey driver. It drives nice and actually is smoother than my DW's longer wheel base SUV. The Liberty has more miles on it being towed than it has driven. Also I have lower back problems and find the Liberty seats are comfortable but that might change with height and weight.
