2020年7月1日 · RAMdisk worked great for me on Windows 7 with superfetch,and prefetch disabled. The only benefit I found on Windows 10 (SSD) was slightly faster browsing if moving browser cache but since I configure browsers to use RAM cache anyway there's not much point in moving browser cache to RAMdisk.

2019年8月3日 · By the way, the memory is dynamically allocated by ASUS ROG RAMDisk and these 20GB is the max amount which can be allocated. So like now, only 10,3GB memory is in use (6,5GB RAMDisk + 3,8GB system, apps), though my RAMDisk is set to 20GB I can still freely use another ~20GB ram for system, games and apps. Yes, games benefits RAMDisk as well.

2015年6月21日 · The proposed solution above is not correct. That changes the Internet Explorer cache, not the Edge cache. As far as I know, Edge offers no way to move the cache location through the app itself, which is the primary reason I'm still using IE. I'm currently contemplating using mklink to redirect the folder to a Ramdisk.
