Can anyone help me identify the IC of this Ram Module? It's from a Patriot Viper Steel RGB Dual Channel Kit I bought for a friend. Sticker label says "0LAF3" Any tables or lists of Sticker Labels for Patriot are mostly not updated and does not list a manufacturer for "0LAF3". Jan 12, 2020 · Well if everything in the SPD that is present is correct it is either Rev.E, Rev.D or Rev.B. (most likely Rev.E or Rev.D considering the manufacturing date) If you remove the memory heat spreader you will be able to see the IC's them selves, that is the only way to know for sure what you have.

* X is IC maker - 3 for Micron/Spectek, 4 for Samsung, 5 for Hynix, 8 for Nanya as with DDR3. * Y seems to be capacity per rank - 1 for 2GB, 2 for 4GB, 3 for 8GB, 4 for 16GB. Usually this translates directly to IC density (8GB/rank = 8Gbit), but ver4.14 which uses half as many double width "x16" 4Gbit chips is a special case.

Sep 12, 2022 · For most Zen3 non-APU chips that is 1900 (3800 RAM). Some select few can do 1933 (3866 RAM) or more, but this is VERY rare with actual stability. If you can't stabilize 1900 then 1866 (3733 RAM) is your best bet, and practically every zen3 CPU can be made to work at that speed with suitable RAM.

Is 256B of RAM something that exists? : r/AskElectronics - Reddit
I would not consider it cheating if it behaves identical to a RAM chip, concerning the 7400 CPU. However, a microcontroller posing as RAM has some huge advantages for debugging, like dumping RAM to a PC or writing a program to RAM over the serial port. Also cool: using a LED matrix as a real-time memory display. Using this for example.
